Biography
Jamey is passionate about history and loves the individual stories that bring it to life. An enthusiastic storyteller herself, Jamey is able to engage her audience and help them connect with history through the lives of those who were there.
Jamey re-enacts women on the British Home Front during the Second World War – covering the Women’s Voluntary Service (WVS), Women’s Land Army (WLA) and Air Raid Precautions (ARP) wardens – as well as the Resistance Movement throughout Europe.
She also re-enacts the women of the Army Remounts Service in the First World War.
As well as re-enactments Jamey also presents an incredibly fascinating talk on The Resistance movement throughout Europe 1939-1945 entitled ‘Resistance is Futile?’ If you are interested in booking this talk then please email: Jamey@stepsbackintime.co.uk
