Sarah is a qualified teacher and educator with over 20 years’ experience of engaging young people with passion and enthusiasm.
Nigel is a retired professional who has had a lifelong passion for military history. Nigel’s time at Liverpool University lead him to the University Officer Training Corps, affiliated with the 5/8th King Regiment.
Initially founded by Mike Harvey to tell the story of Captain H.B. Harvey M.C., Mike’s Grandfather, the group continues to tell the story with Sara, Mike’s partner, and friends Lloyd, Josh, Billie and on occasion, Sam, the youngest member.
As a group we pool resources and knowledge to try to bring different aspects of WW2 to life.

An original member of the Royal Sussex Living History Group, Jamey has been re-enacting for 30 years across the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Entertaining and educating visitors to museums and historical venues; with a mix of humour and sensitivity.
Gary, an original member of the Royal Sussex Living History Group, is also the chairman and founder of the Friends of Shoreham Fort. Gary’s less than positive experiences through school lead him in trying to make education fun and accessible to all ages and abilities.
